Privacy Policy
TheiaOps (“we,” “us”) operates theiaops.com and its subdomains. We are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable EU data protection law.
This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who processes it, and what rights you have.
Data controller
The data controller responsible for your personal data is TheiaOps, reachable at ops@theiaops.com.
What we collect
Automatically (analytics): When you visit the site, we collect anonymized usage data via Google Analytics 4 — pages viewed, time on site, referral source, device type, and approximate geographic region. IP addresses are anonymized before processing. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have a legitimate interest in understanding how visitors use our site so we can improve it. This processing is necessary, limited in scope, and does not override your rights. You may object at any time.
Voluntarily (contact): If you contact us via email or the contact form, we collect the information you provide — name, email address, company name, and message content.
How we use it
Analytics data: To understand site usage patterns and improve content. This data is aggregated and anonymized — we cannot identify individual visitors from it.
Contact data: Solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not use contact data for marketing, profiling, or automated decision-making. We do not share, sell, or rent your data.
Third-party processors
We use the following third-party data processors:
- Google LLC (Google Analytics 4) — analytics and site measurement. Data is processed on servers in the United States.
International data transfers
Google Analytics processes data on servers located in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, providing an adequate level of protection for personal data transferred from the EU. IP anonymization is enabled.
Data retention
Analytics data: Retained for 14 months, per Google Analytics 4 default settings. After this period, data is automatically deleted. Contact emails and form submissions: Retained for 24 months after the last correspondence, after which they are permanently deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
Cookies
We use Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to measure site traffic. These are first-party analytics cookies that do not identify you personally.
Legal basis: Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Analytics cookies are set only after you provide explicit consent via our cookie banner. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies or adjusting your consent preferences. You may also disable cookies entirely in your browser settings or use a browser extension to block analytics tracking.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access — request a copy of personal data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to erasure — request deletion of your data
- Right to restrict processing — limit how we use your data
- Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Right to withdraw consent — withdraw cookie consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at ops@theiaops.com. We will respond within 30 days as required by law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
Age restriction
Our site and services are not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 16 without verified parental consent, we will delete it immediately.
